Pier 1's store rewards birthday perk no longer exists. Pier 1 Imports filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on February 18, 2020, moved to liquidation that spring, and closed its remaining stores - roughly 500 of them - by October 2020.

The Pier 1 name was later relaunched as an online-only retailer under different ownership. It is a separate operation from the chain that closed, and any reward tied to the old stores did not carry over.

What Pier 1 Used to Offer

Pier 1's loyalty and card-linked rewards program sent members offers through the year, including a birthday perk redeemable in store or online during the birthday month. The program's terms died with the company and are no longer published.
